No use either. The dome blocks 60% of light from passing. Why do you think it's so dark inside?

(Your post says passing through not what occurs in the dome. The dome isnt material on the inside or no one could see. As you wrote it it kinda acts as a bubble that doesnt allow light in.)

I "Step" in the direction the hand dissapeared and avoid the new one heading for the source.
